Dr. Underhill received her medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1992. She completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Queen’s University, and in 1997, went on to complete a fellowship in Brachytherapy at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. Dr. Underhill started her career in academic medicine in 1998, teaching and doing clinical research; from 1998-2006, she held the academic appointments of Instructor in Radiation Oncology at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire.
